Career Preparation

The best guarantee of success for today’s students is academic, technical, and workplace skills as well as postsecondary education. In a Tech Prep program, students acquire all of these skills while still in high school and further their skills and education with postsecondary education. Tech Prep blends all of these skills by providing a purposeful and challenging curriculum that integrates academic and technical skills in high school and prepares students for the “world of work” or further education.

Tech Prep Gives Young People Options

Students learn marketable skills and can earn industry certifications while still in high school that can lead to employment after graduation

  • Students learn skills that are valued and recognized by the military
  • Students earn free college credit while still in high school, giving them a head start in postsecondary education leading to an Associate Degree or Industry Certificate
